A dead fridge in the garage, a washer-dryer pair, or a range that lost its kitchen.

Appliance removal in Garland and North Dallas

One appliance is often the $125–$175 minimum. A pair plus a few extras can be a ¼ load ($275).

Refrigerator on a dolly at the back of a dump trailer during an appliance pickup

The fridge still looks like a fridge. It just does not cool, and it will not fit in a Civic. Washers, dryers, ranges, and the garage spare are the same story: heavy, awkward, and somehow always on the wrong floor when they die. Jolly Goat Junk hauls appliances in Garland, Richardson, Plano, Rowlett, and the rest of our fifteen-mile included radius. We bring a dolly, straps, and enough people to not take the doorjamb with us.

One bulky appliance with a clear path is often the $125–$175 minimum. That number is the floor for rolling a truck, a crew, and a dump ticket — not a punishment for owning a single fridge. A washer and dryer plus a few bags can land at a quarter load ($275). A kitchen’s worth plus garage extras may be a half at $450. We price by how much of the fourteen-yard usable trailer it fills, then confirm on site before we lift.

Refrigerant is the line we will not blur. A refrigerator, freezer, or window unit still charged with freon cannot go on a regular dump load. We will not pretend otherwise to win the booking. If recovery is still needed, we will say so from a photo or in the driveway instead of showing up and shrugging. Once it is handled, the box is just an awkward metal cabinet, and those we understand.

Send a photo of the appliance, the path to the truck, and the stairs if there are any. A second-story landing in a Richardson townhome is a different job from a garage in Sachse with the door up. One flight is a small access add. Two flights or a long breezeway is more. Elevators help if the office will let us use them. Tell us the floor and the parking rule when you text.

We move disconnected machines. Live water, gas, and 220-volt surprises stay with your plumber or the appliance shop that is rolling in the replacement. If the old washer is still hooked to the house, unhook it before we arrive — or have someone there who can. We will not cut supply lines to make a dump run more exciting.

City bulk pickup in Garland, Plano, and Mesquite will sometimes take appliances on the right week with the right rules. Freon units are picky. A dead range on a Tuesday before guests arrive is not a calendar problem you can wait out. Paying the minimum for a confirmed window is usually cheaper than a failed curb pile and a strained back.

Apartments along the Telecom Corridor, HOA streets in Murphy, lake-lot carries in Rowlett, and alley pickups in Lake Highlands are all normal. The city name is less important than the path. Inside fifteen miles of the Garland yard, mileage is included. West Plano and Frisco pins we check on the map; extra miles past fifteen show up as extra miles, not a new philosophy of pricing.

What rides with the appliance is up to you. If we are already there for a fridge, a few bags or a microwave often fit the same run. That is how a single-item job becomes a min or a quarter load. We will tell you if it changes the number before it hits the trailer. Wet paint and chemicals on top of a dryer are still a no.

Usable working appliances sometimes have a next life. A stained, dead fridge does not. We will not decorate this page with a promise we cannot keep, and we will not invent reviews about sparkling service. The proof is the machine gone, the floor visible, and a number that matched the driveway conversation.

Garage stacks of spare fridges, a dryer on its side, and a range that lost a kitchen are still appliance jobs — they just photograph like a yard sale. Send the whole stack. We would rather range a quarter load than bill a minimum and then discover three machines. Pairing a mattress or a sofa on the same run is normal if it is in the photos. Freon rules still apply to every sealed unit in the pile, not just the one you named first.

If the replacement is being delivered Thursday, book the haul for the same window or the day before. We can often meet that kind of clock when the photos come in with a pin. Same-day is when the calendar has a hole. Text the picture. We will tell you whether it is a minimum, a quarter, or a “not until the freon is done.”

What we take

  • Washers, dryers, ranges, and dishwashers (disconnected)
  • Refrigerators and freezers after refrigerant is recovered
  • Window units after freon is handled
  • Water heaters that are drained and disconnected
  • Microwaves, compact units, and the garage spare

What we don't

  • Fridges, freezers, or A/C units still charged with freon
  • Live water or gas connections — that is your plumber
  • Wet paint, fuels, and chemicals stacked on top
  • Furnaces that are a mechanical demo, not a haul

FAQ

Can you take a fridge today?

If refrigerant is already recovered, often yes. If it is still charged, we will not dump it on a regular load. We will say so from the photo.

Do you unhook washers and gas ranges?

We move disconnected machines. Live water and gas stay your plumber’s job.

Is one appliance really $125–$175?

That is the floor for a single bulky piece with normal access. Stairs, a long carry, or a second machine can move it. We confirm before we load.

Can I add bags if you are already there?

Usually yes, if they fit the same run. We will tell you if it changes the number.

Do you take window air conditioners?

After freon is handled. A charged unit is the same rule as a fridge.
